Idea is to film events and produce an edit for the web in the same day.
The first test of this concept was in the Sahara Desert when we documented the MDS Marathon.
It's renowned to be one of the hardest races in the world. Participants cover 156 miles over the course of six days.
Producing an edit a day in these conditions was tough, but highly enjoyable. We worked in any location possible as long as it had power. This basically meant our tent or in the car. The edit was uploaded to the web via satellite every day.
Below are two of my favourite cuts, one showing the team behind the event and the other showing stage one of the race.Digital Photography, Film2012 -
Covered the 2012 Outlook Festival in Pula, Croatia. To me this is one of the best festivals. The location is unreal, an 18th century fort filled with some of the best sound systems from around the world.
There are a number of boat parties that cruise around the Adriatic sea. This year I was on the Metalheadz boat. It went down as one of the biggest parties at the festival.
Here's a selection of photos and two videos from the event.Digital Photography, Film2012 -
